Re-Framed a book by Marc Hom:

A life dedicated to capturing perfect moments and subjects, photographer Marc Hom’s new book Re-Framed features a stunning selection of portraiture and documentary-style photographs, becoming a true work of art in its own right. Edited by teNeues, it has been unveiled at the Fenimore Art Museum and will be launched at Bookmarc.

The 160 page hard cover is going to be launched in New York at Bookmarc on June 20th providing us a vast compendium of sensational images as well as the beauty of the unexpected also making an unforgettable impression with its unique cover design and interior layout that exudes its own special style just like Hom’s exhibit where he combined indoor/outdoor museum show in which viewers engage with the medium of portrait photography via the juxtaposition of a controlled classical indoor show with sculpture like eleven foot tall photographs displayed and left exposed outdoors in the open air. This creates a new way to experience photography in an ever evolving environment while discovering oversized larger than life pieces amidst the green lawn on a lakeshore behind the museum building.

Danish photographer Marc Hom has an educated eye for the best. Since 1989 he lives in New York always working with the best talents such as Fabien Baron at Harper’s Bazaar, or the late Liz Tilberis and was fast introduced in the glamorous world of fashion photography.

Today Marc Hom is a recognized portraitist who has captured sensational yet intimate shots for celebrities such as Cher, Aretha Franklin, Alexander McQueen, Louise Bourgeois, Faye Dunaway and Miley Cyrus among others.

His wonderful photographs have been featured in magazines such as Esquire or Town and Country and has delivered beautiful campaigns for Gucci, Patek Philippe and Boss and also has worked for media entertainment campaigns for Netflix, Showtime and Amazon.
