One of the best collections presented during NYBFW (NY bridal fashion week) was designed by Mariela Torres Soucy founder of Soucy in 2000, a bespoke atelier deeply rooted in a heritage of glamour and unwavering commitment to the celebration and preservation of true couture artistry.

Located in the heart of NYC this exclusive and by appointment only atelier experience embodies Mariela’s distinctive vision firmly anchored in the core values of design, exquisite craftsmanship and meticulous construction.

Anthophilia II continues Mariela’s exploration of the language of flowers, a careful study of shapes and textures inspired different volumes for the skirts while remaining true for her respect for workmanship and the movement and flow of fabrics.

In each of the designs we can appreciate the luxurious constructions, delicate details such as buttons, veils, lace and the perfect gowns for the contemporary bride that focuses on cut and couture fabrics. To me it has been one of the best bridal collection and in terms of quality just magnificent.
